About The Show
ABOUT THE EVENT:
What is DEVISED THEATER? Come and find out at this open rehearsal/workshop performance of “...& THE REST IS DRAG,” a play-in-progress about gender in 2026 America that our talented group of company members has been developing together for several months.
We'll show you our process, introduce you to a variety of characters we’ve created, perform a few scenes, and enjoy refreshments – all in the name of raising money for GLYS WNY, a local non-profit that supports local LGBTQ+ youth.
ABOUT THE SHOW:
“..& THE REST IS DRAG” is a timely, funny, twisted look into a historical moment when the cultural concept of Gender has been so publicized, politicized and social mediatized that it feels like we’re all living in the middle of a giant rock concert where everyone has a mic and is trying to be the loudest voice in the arena.
Time - 7:00 PM (Bar Opens at 6:00 PM)
