WNY's Home for Improv Comedy
Buffalo Comedy Collective was started in 2022 in response to the impending closure of ComedySportz Buffalo due to the pandemic. Co-Owners, Meghan Joyce & Scott Wojtanik, had been on the CSz Buffalo Pro Roster for several years and had already been spreading the love of improv in the Western New York community by teaching improv classes and hosting longforms shows around the Buffalo area. Knowing how much joy CSz brings to others, they decided to umbrella all their interests together to create Buffalo Comedy Collective and keep ComedySportz alive in Buffalo. Along with their management team, Cindy Bednasz & David McClary, BCC has partnered with various companies, theaters, and charities around the community to spread our message of "Yes, And!" Buffalo Comedy Collective's main goals are to provide local performers a place to learn, perform, & grow, support & provide charitable work to the WNY area, and spread our message of positivity through comedy.
