Spring classes

High School Improv Graphic

Buffalo Comedy Collective is excited to offer a 4 week class, specifically for high school students, to come learn & practice their improvisational comedy skills. Likeminded individuals will come together to learn, play, and have fun in a supportive environment! During the course, you will learn improv basics, which have real-world applications as well as performance based. 

No comedy or theater experience is necessary, we will teach you everything they need to know! Participants should wear comfortable clothing and footwear that permits movement.

Where:  Harlem Road Community Center

 Dates:  Saturdays in April (04/08, 04/15, 04/22, 04/29)

   Time:  2:00 PM - 3:30 PM

   Cost:  $99.00 (Price includes a free student ticket for a CSz Buffalo match)

 Dates:  Tuesdays in April & May (04/04, 04/11, 04/18, 04/25, 05/02, 05/09)

   Time:  6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

   Cost:  $154.00 (Price includes discounted BCC tickets for course duration)

Now that improv basics are securely under your belt,  it's time to start honing in your new skills! This 6 week, Level 102 Improv class will expand on Level 101 concepts & begin to focus on creating fuller, smarter scenes. Learn how to create characters, interact with your environment, and make sure you are a good scene partner, all while having fun!

Students must have completed either BCC's Intro to Improv - Level 101 class or an equivalent course with another theater/company. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and footwear that permits movement.
